Our customers are blown away by beautiful glass designs and we are looking for the next best seller. Whether you make it, mold it, or recycle it to create your designs, show us in the Glass Art Design Challenge.

DEADLINE: April 30, 2013 at 11:59 PM ET

GRAND PRIZE: $500 + an UncommonGoods vendor contract

All runners-up will receive a critique of their work from the guest judges, and UncommonGoods' marketing team will provide tips for marketing and growing their businesses. Additionally, UncommonGoods' buyers will review each entrant's full portfolio and may consider adding the work submitted to the UncommonGoods website in the future.

What can I submit?
We want to see your designs that feature glass as a main material. We are looking for goods that fall into all categories - home décor, wall art, accessories, jewelry, games, etc. The sky is the limit--but only finished products, please.

What does it take to be an uncommon artist?
Your design and your personal story should be anything but ordinary. Your design should be expressive, unique and tell a story. Be sure to share your design process and background on the submission form.

candace holloway

Candace Holloway is the associate buyer for tabletop at UncommonGoods which means she is on the hunt for anything you may eat, drink, serve food off of...or even literally eat/drink. She has been surrounded by fragile wares for her entire career, glass and ceramics are the majority of the goods she has worked with. Fortunately there have been very few broken item causalities by the hands of this buyer even though she considers herself very clumsy.
