Daniel Michalik

Daniel Michalik is the founder of a firm creating furniture and objects from underutilized, environmentally responsible materials and manufacturing methods. Recent explorations have included cork from sustainable managed forests and lumber from structures around New York City.

Daniel received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in the Department of Furniture Design, and currently teaches Product Design at Parsons the New School for Design. Daniel lives in New York City with his wife and two sons.
