"One of the things I enjoy most about woodturning is starting with a simple piece of wood, then forming it into something beautiful and useful. Often the wood itself dictates the form it becomes." Anna Ruggiero always enjoyed working with her hands, but it wasn't until 2007 when she inherited her grandfather's 1948 Shop Smith that she was first introduced to woodturning. After taking a class at a local woodworking store she was offered a teaching position less than a year later. Quickly transforming her passion into her profession!
Anna is currently a member of the American Association of Woodturners and the International Association of Penturners.
