UncommonGoods Adds the AmeriCares Tsunami Relief Fund to List of Non-Profit Recipients in its Better to Give Program
New York, NY, January 7, 2005 - UncommonGoods is announcing the AmeriCares Tsunami Relief Fund as the fourth organization in its Better to Give program, joining the Craft Emergency Relief Fund, Comprehensive Development, Inc. and the World Wildlife Fund. Their customers will now have a choice of having UncommonGoods donate a portion of their order any of these four organizations. AmeriCares provides humanitarian assistance throughout the world, and through its Tsunami Relief Fund it has performed a vital role in providing much needed aid to the survivors of the December 26 tsunami in South Asia, bringing aid, essential medicine and water purification to the people of Indonesia and Sri Lanka.The Better to Give program has been in existence since the company began, donating a percentage of their revenue from each order and giving customers a choice in where the funds are donated.
