Handmade Artisan Root Bowl
FIND YOUR ROOTS
Alluring in their simplicity and natural beauty, these gnarled bowls are not just useful, but have a great story behind them. Each bowl is made from the stump of a Chinese Fir called Shan Mu from the mountains of Central China. Artisans painstakingly hollow the stumps, sand them to a smooth finish, and seal them to be food safe. Throughout this process, the artisans strive to maintain the unmistakable touch of nature. Because of this, each platter is completely unique. Although the platters are food safe, they are not recommended for hot food service. Also perfect for displaying objects or as a centerpiece. Made in China.
